I found the perfect drink for a very hot and humid day:  the Coronarita.

Got the recipe from The Exhausted Mom, and it's delicious!   I didn't believe her advice to take care, as this drink goes way fast.

We're on to our second pitcher as I write this.

Just mix equal parts of frozen Limeade, one can of Sprite, water, and Tequila then add a bottle of Corona beer.

But since I am in the Philippines and ingredients don't come easy, I had to make my own frozen limeade.  It's easy to do so don't be discouraged.  For the limeade, put a cup of sugar and a cup of water in a saucepan and boil until the sugar dissolves.  Remove from heat.  Add a cup of freshly squeezed lime juice to the sugar syrup then in to the freezer it goes.

When ready, just toss everything in a pitcher and enjoy.  Cheers!

So long, tummy!

I threw a baby shower for a dear friend of mine, and here's the surprise cake I made for her:
I used half a ball tin for the belly and two small ones for the chest area.  Chocolate cake with mocha buttercream filling.

The outfit wouldn't be complete without her signature wide belt.  In black, of course.
